Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
The meaning of this affix is 'a story of N' or 'an account of N'. The affix is a combination of N{-liqcaaq}V, 'tell about N' and abstract participle V{nəq}N.
This combination is recorded in Oqaatsit (1997), whereas Schultz-Lorentzen (1958) gives -lerssârut instead, i.e. the affix N{-liqcaarutə}N. However, the form with V{nəq}N seems to be preferred nowadays.
Left sandhi:
Left sandhi is inherited from the left-most component, N{-liqcaaq}V. See this for details.
Right sandhi:
Right sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, V{nəq}N. See this for details.
Inflection sandhi:
Inflection sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, V{nəq}N. See this for details.
