Description and behaviour

Form and usage:

From the examples given in Oqaatsit [8], the meaning of this affix is 'Agent asks/encourages Patient to Vb with him=Agent'. The affix does not appear in any of the older dictionaries; the first appearance I have found is in Oqaatsit [8] from 1997, so it must be recently formed. The first part is clearly V{-qatə}N, but the origin of the second part, /sirə/, is unknown.
