Form and usage:

This affix denotes 'several Subjects strive together to Vb', or 'hunt together', given the 'hunt for' meaning of V{niaq}V. It is a combination of V{niaq}V and V{-(cc)ut(ə)}V, where the latter has caused /aq/ to drop from the stem of the former. V{-(cc)ut(ə)}V is here used in the reflexive/reciprocal sense, so the affix only takes intransitive endings with plural persons. It is presumably only used on monovalent stems. Hence, we record it with reflexive diathesis, but nevertheless as monovalent.
