Description and behaviour

Form and usage:

The meaning of this affix is 'many Actors Vb together, in a group'. Note that it is only used with intransitive endings, with subjects in plural, since the meaning is reflexive/reciprocal.

It is not found in the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [MFSJLK10], but it appears to be a combination of V{-raq}V, 'many Actors Vb', and V{'-t(ə)}V, the geminating variant of V{-(cc)ut(ə)}V, which here is used in its reflexive/reciprocal sense of 'do together, in a group'. The latter affix has then caused gemination of the initial /r/ in the former, thus giving the present form.

Right sandhi:

Right sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, V{'-t(ə)}V. See this for details.
