Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This stem denotes a type of atlantic fish, catfish (or wolf fish), Anarhichas lupus. The stem is not recorded in the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [MFSJLK10], so the origin is unknown. However, I assume it is related to {qiəq}N, 'strand of white/grey hair', so we record the form here as /qiəraq/.
