Form and usage:

This is the intransitive imperative 2pl ending. The mood marker is either {Ø} or {git}, depending on how one prefers to view it. According to the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [MFSJLK10], the /git/ is transferred from the 2sg ending, V{-git}, and then with the 2pl marker, {si} added on top of it.

Thus, {git} could alternatively be viewed as the mood marker, with the null-morpheme as 2sg marker (as in some of the other moods), and {si} as the 2pl marker.
