Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This is the exclamatory plural ending. It is similar to the absolutive plural ending N{t} for weak q-stems. Usually, exclamations are not inflected, but in a few cases, an exclamation may optionally be inflected for number; in particular when the exclamation refers to a plural entity.
For singular, exclamatory ending, see {{ mref(kl/ending/v/Ø) }}.
Left sandhi:
Stems ending in /q/ are treated as weak q-stems, so the final /q/ drops and is replaced by the present ending. Thus for example:
- kusanaq! (singular) ⇒ kusanat! (plural).
