This morpheme is not given its own entry in the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [MFSJLK10]. However, the authors mention it under the entry for +{ŋ(ŋ)ur}V and note that it is found in several stems, so it is not clear why it does not have its own entry.
The meaning seems to be 'has become Vb'ing'. The authors of [MFSJLK10] describe it as 'an inchoative or dynamic element'. They further hypothesise that it may have been from a morpheme {*Vr-}. It causes gemination in the preceding stem, when possible.
