Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
For unknown reasons, this morpheme does not have a separate entry in the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [MFSJLK10]. However, the authors mention it under the entry for +{nər}N and cite several examples of lexicalised stems formed with it in the Inuit branch. They translate it as the 'result of Vb'ing'.
The morpheme appears to have formed from +{nər}N, through a drop of /nə/, and with compensatory gemination in the stem.
