Form and usage:

According to [MFSJLK10], the meaning of this morpheme is 'pretend to'. They suggest a relation to +{c(c)ir}V and +{tur}V, but they do not elaborate.

Note that a descendant of this morpheme is only present in some of the Inuit daughter languages, but not all. There is also a morpheme +{ciru(C)ar}V with a similar meaning in some languages in the Yupik branch, to which they also suggest a relation, but the precise derivation is not clear.
