Form:

This stem is formed from {iŋuɣ} and a non-productive morpheme {aʀ}, 'resembling N'. The gemination consonant is seemingly originally /ɣ/, but it now geminates to [ʃʃ], rather than [kk]. In the old orthography, it could also be spelt as inuvaĸ or inugaĸ and geminate to inuvkat.
