Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This is a straightforward combination of N{-minəq}N, 'a piece of N' and N{-atciaq}N, 'a fair-sized N', yielding the meaning 'a fair-sized piece of N'. However, in contrast to the combination by the modern-day rules, the /ə/ within the stem has been affected by the vowel, after /q/ was removed, such that the form becomes -minaatsiaq. Thus, we record this combination as a separate affix.
Inflection sandhi:
Inflection sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, N{-atciaq}N. See this for details.
