Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This affix is mentioned in Fortescue's Comparative Manual of Affixes [12] , but seemingly nowhere else. He defines the meaning as 'a rather big N'. Nielsen [8] mentions it in the index, but it does not seem to appear in the list of affixes in his book.
Since none of the other dictionaries mention it, we must assume it is non-productive. However, Schultz-Lorentzen [10] mentions another affix, N{kkataaŋŋuaq}N, which seems to be a combination with this affix and N{ŋŋuaq}N, and the meaning of this affix seems to be consistent with Fortescue's definition of the present affix.

Declension pattern
Declension type: | p-declined |
Declension sandhi: | Default/none |
Notes on declension:
As the affix does not appear in any dictionaries with examples, it is unclear how it declines. Thus, in the absence of further information, we shall assume it is a p-declined weak q-stem, since this is the most common. However, for the same reason, we do not provide a declension pattern.
