Form and usage:

This is a non-productive affix mentioned in Schultz-Lorentzen [11], who gives the meaning as: 'Actor becomes N-like'. It appears to be a combination of another non-productive affix, N{(q)vala}V, 'is N-like', and the geminating affix V{'-q}V, 'become', which cas caused the single /l/ in the stem to geminate to /ll/.
