Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This affix is derived from N{-kuq}N, 'remains of N', presumably followed by the generic verbalisation morpheme *{-Vq}V, which lengthens the preceding vowel. The meaning of the affix is '`Actor discards N'. However, it does not seem to be much used on its own, but it commonly occurs in combination with V{(v)vik}N to express 'place for discarding N'. See N{-kuuqvik}N for this combination.
Meanings and examples
All examples in Kleinschmidt [9] and Schultz-Lorentzen [10] are with V{(v)vik}N, so see the combination ?? for examples.
