Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This affix is a straightforward combination of V{lqammiq}V, 'recently' and the negation affix V{ŋŋit}V.
However, according to Fortescue (1983), the negation is here only applied to the meaning of V{lqammiq}V, and not to the whole preceding stem.
Hence, the meaning becomes 'Subject Vb'ed some time ago', i.e. 'not recently'.
