Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This affix means 'Subject
Vb quickly', or 'hurriedly' or similar.
It also has a variant form with initial /g/, i.e. V{gasuaq}V, with no apparent difference in meaning.
According to the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary, both derive from a morpheme {nasuk-}, which has no direct descendant in Kalaallisut.
The final part of the morpheme is not explained, but it may possibly be {aʀ-}, i.e. V{-aq}V.
Meanings and examples
