This is a non-productive affix found in some lexicalised words. Kleinschmidt [10] and Schultz-Lorentzen [13] translate it as 'to a somewhat higher degree'.


Meanings and examples

    The base is unknown, and the stem is not mentioned in the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [18].
