Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
The meaning of this stem is 'elbow'. According to Kleinschmidt [14] often including the outer side of the forearm closest to the elbow.
Inflection sandhi:
This is a weak k-stem, that furthermore inflects with gemination. Note that the stem-internal /ə/ has historically taken the sound [i], and it therefore does not alternate with [a], even when the final /k/ is removed by a vowel-initial ending. Thus for example ikusia, 'his elbow' according to Kleinschmidt [14].

The stem has gemination of /s/ ⇒ [tc]. As this is not regular, we write it as /tc/ in the phonemic inflection.
