Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
The meaning oft his stem is 'spit' or 'saliva'. There is also a verbal form, qiserpoq, 'he spits'. According to Kleinschmidt [13], the nominal form is not commonly used, and instead the nominalisation with V{nəq}N, i.e. qiserneq, is used. However, in the newer dictionary Oqaatsit [19], qiseq is listed, so it is presumably used.
Inflection sandhi:
According to Schultz-Lorentzen [8], this stem declines with gemination of /s/ to 'ts', but it may alternatively also decline without gemination.
