Form and usage:
This stem denotes a type of atlantic fish, catfish (or wolf fish), Anarhichas lupus.
The stem is not recorded in the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [21], so the origin is unknown.
However, I assume it is related to {qiəq}N, 'strand of white/grey hair', so we record the form here as /qiəraq/.
