Description and behaviour

Form and usage:

The meaning of this stem is 'neck' or 'throat'; according to Schultz-Lorentzen [16] also 'shirt collar'.

According to the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [21], the historical reconstructed form is {quŋəʀ}. Asl kleinschmidt [13] speculates, there seems to be a second morpheme at the end, adding the /asiq/, but it is not explained with this morpheme is.
