Left sandhi:

Apparently, some lexicalised words are formed irregularly from this affix, with drop of the /u/; especially if the stem ends in in /uu/.


Inflection sandhi:

The stem displays regular gemination of /s/ to /tc/, spelt 'ts'. Hence, -useq becomes e.g. -utsip in ergative singular.
