Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This stem denotes 'young of an animal' (e.g. 'puppy' of a dog, lamb of a sheep, foal of a horse etc.). It is a straightforward combination of the 'dummy' root {pi}N and N{-araq}N, thus giving the pure meaning of this affix.
Inflection sandhi:
Inflection sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, N{-araq}N. See this for details.
