Description and behaviour

Form and usage:

The meaning of this stem is 'older sibling of the same sex' (as the speaker). I.e., I am a man, so if I say angajuga (or angajora), it denotes 'my older brother'. Conversely, if a woman speaks of angajuga, she would be speaking of her older sister. See also {nukaq}N for the corresponding younger sibling.

Inflection

Inflection pattern:

Stem type: Vowel stem
Inflection sandhi: Default/none, p-declined
Sources: [JP67]

Notes on inflection:

The stem inflects as an ordinary vowel stem with p-declension. As this is entirely regular, we do not record a full inflection paradigm here. The secondary form, {aŋajuq}N, is likely not inflected, but only used as an exclamatory form.
