Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
The meaning of this stem is 'house'. Notice the old-orthography spelling: igdlo. This word is the same, as the word that was borrowed into English (from Inuktitut) as igloo. However, the meaning is just 'house' in general, and not specifically 'snow hut'.
Inflection
Inflection pattern:
| Stem type: | Vowel stem |
| Inflection sandhi: | Default/none, p-declined |
| Sources: | [JP67] |
Notes on inflection:
The stem inflects as a vowel stem with p-declension. As this is entirely regular, we do not record a full inflection pattern here.
