Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
The meaning of this stem is: 'Actor hunts caribou', i.e. is on a hunting trip of a shorter or longer duration.
Kleinschmidt [SK71] and Schultz-Lorentzen [CWSL58] also mention a transitive usage: 'Agent hunts for caribou at Patient', where Patient indicates a place.
However, this usage is not mentioned in the newer dictionary Oqaatsit [CBBJRPIKJR97], so the stem is likely only used intransitively nowadays.
