Form and usage:

The meaning of this stem is 'Actor lands', i.e. used of something that was flying, e.g. a bird, an aeroplane, etc. According to Kleinschmidt [SK71], this stem is, however, not used when speaking of the appa bird (when it lands on water, {nakkaq}V is used instead).


Right sandhi:

According to Kleinschmidt [SK71], the combination with the intransitive participle will yield 'ts'. However, this is not indicated in Oqaatsit [CBBJRPIKJR97], so it may no longer be the case.
