Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
The modern meaning of this stem is 'Actor dances'.
According to Kleinschmidt [SK71], the meaning is originally rather that Actor behaves frivolously or gaily, and it then later came to be applied to (European) dancing.
He was opposed to this use of the word, but all later dictionaries record the word as meaning dancing.
