Description
Form and usage:
Combination of V{-vik}V and V{ŋŋit}V. The second constituent of this morpheme is the negation affix V{ŋŋit}V, so the combination therefore inherits the same idiosyncratic sandhi behaviour as this affix, so see it for a description. Note that although the affix is valency preserving, and hence can appear with transitive endings, there is not HTR-stem, since any HTR-morpheme would be added_before_ this affix.
Verb stem
Right sandhi: | Irregular changes to mood marker (see description) |
Valency: | Valency-preserving |
Diathesis: | Unaltered (same as the stem) |
