Description

Form and usage:

This morpheme is used to create abstract nouns from adjectival verb stems. According to Fortescue et al. (2010), this morpheme is related to V{-usiq}N, although the source of the /cc/ phonemes is not explained. It is often declined irregularly, with /i/ becoming /a/ before vowel-initial endings as if it were a /ə/, although this is not officially recognised as correct.
