Description
Form:
This stem is derived from {sinə}, according to the CED, possibly with {liʀ}, where /əl/ is dropped, as with replacivity. The final part /i(C)ak/ is unexplained, so the origin of the geminating consonant is unknown. See also {kəkijak}N, which seems to end on the same morpheme and behaves similar; there, the final part is /yaɣ/, which thus suggests that the CED-form of this morpheme should be {siniʀyaɣ}, albeit this form is not recorded therein.
