Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
The meaning of this affix is 'Subject
no longer needs to Vb'.
It is formed by a strange combination of V{ðariaqaq}V, 'must' and N{-irut(ə)}V, 'deprive of', which seemingly violates the usual join patterns of these two affixes.
It does not seem to be very productive nowadays, but it may occasionally be found in some texts.
There is also a variant combination, V{ðariairut(ə)}V, formed without the element N{-qaq}V, but seemingly with the same meaning.
Left sandhi:
Left sandhi is inherited from the left-most component, V{ðaq}V. See this for details.
Right sandhi:
Right sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, V{-(cc)ut(ə)}V. See this for details.
Inflection sandhi:
Inflection sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, V{-(cc)ut(ə)}V. See this for details.
