Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This affix is a straightforward combination of intransitive participle V{ðuq}N, future nominal N{kcaq}N, and N{-u}V, denoting 'Subject is supposed to Vb'ed'.
It indicates an obligation, somewhat similar to 'shall', but unlike V{ssa}V, which does not have the 'obligation' sense.
See also the related affix V{-ðakcau}V, which is a similar combination, but with the passive participle V{ðuq}N instead of the intransitive participle.
Left sandhi:
Left sandhi is inherited from the left-most component, V{ðuq}N. See this for details.
Meanings and examples
