Description and behaviour

Form and usage:

This affix appears to be used in the same sense as the first constituent, V{-ruluk}V, i.e. 'Vb (unusually) hard'. One possible difference is that all examples in Oqaatsit [14] given for the former are intransitive, whereas for the present affix they are all transitive. It is not clear whether this indicates that the present affix is only used on divalent stems, and V{-ruluk}V only on monovalent stems. Fortescue [13] does not mention this, but instead indicates that they can be used interchangeably.
