Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This stem denotes 'the sun'. According to the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [MFSJLK10], it derives from some verbal stem {ciqi-}, which however does not exist independently in Kalaallisut, and then followed by V{nəq}N. There is also a related verbal form, {siqinniq}V, denoting 'the sun is shining'.
Right sandhi:
Right sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, V{nəq}N. See this for details.
Inflection
Declension pattern:
| Stem type: | Strong q-stem |

Notes on declension:
According to Ordbogeeraq [JP67], the inflection is with metathesis, like the left-most component V{nəq}N, so see that for details.
