Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
The meaning of this stem is 'tea' (in singular: the drink; in plural: tea leaves). It is a loan word, borrowed via Danish 'te'.
Right sandhi:
Note that this stem does not assibilate a following /t/. Also: Some speakers prefer a final /q/ in absolutive singular, i.e. teeq, but this is not part of the stem, and affixes normally attach to the vowel-stem form.
Inflection
Inflection pattern:
| Stem type: | Vowel stem |
| Inflection sandhi: | Default/none, p-declined |
| Sources: | [JP67] |
Notes on inflection:
The stem inflects like an ordinary vowel stem with p-declension. As this is entirely regular, we do not record an inflection paradigm here.
