Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This is the exclamatory (singular) ending. It is the empty morpheme, (similar to the absolutive singular ending {{ mref(kl/ending/n/Ø) }}), so it corresponds to the verbal stem itself, without mood marker or person marker.
Usually, exclamations are not inflected, but in a few cases, an exclamation may optionally be inflected for number. For this plural, exclamatory ending, see V{t}.
Left sandhi:
The ending consists of the empty morpheme. Hence, the final word will end on the stem-final consonant itself.
However, in case the stem is a t-stem, this /t/ is pronounced as [k] (maybe to distinguish it from the plural form). Thus for example
- {alianaq}V + V{-it}V + V{Ø} ⇒ alianaak!
