Description and behaviour
Form and usage:
This is a non-productive base found in some lexicalised stems. The Comparative Eskimo Dictionary [MFSJLK10] translates it as 'area beyond (partition)'. Kleinschmidt [SK71] translates it as: "that which is outermost/outside" cf. also {sila}N and {avatə}N.
Inflection sandhi:
This stem is never used on its own, but only in combination with affixes. Thus, we do not record an inflection pattern.
