Form and usage:

The meaning of this affix is This affix derives from a combination of V{(t)siriaq}V and the privative affix V{-it}V, 'is un-Vb'ing', where the latter has caused /aq/ to drop from the stem. According to the Comparative Eskimo Dictionary, the former itself derives from a combination of V{(t)siq}V and an old morpheme {yaʀ-} which has not come down into Greenlandic independently. Hence, we register this affix as a combination of V{(t)siriaq}V and V{-it}V, since the first cannot be broken down further with existing Greenlandic morphemes.
