Description and behaviour

Form and usage:

The meaning of this affix is 'Agent reckons that Patient Vb'. Hence, this is a valency-increasing affix. On monovalent stems, the Actor of the underlying stem is mapped to the Patient role of the affix. However, it is unclear from the examples how the mapping is, if the underlying stem itself is divalent.

This affix is a non-standardly formed, lexicalised combination of V{-gə}V (consider) and V{-(cc)ut(ə)}V (for Patient), where the latter apparently has elided /ə/ and caused gemination of /g/ to [kk]. Hence, we do not record it as a combination, since it cannot be derived with the modern-day rules.

Right sandhi:

Right sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, V{-(cc)ut(ə)}V. See this for details.

Inflection sandhi:

Inflection sandhi is inherited from the right-most component, V{-(cc)ut(ə)}V. See this for details.
